Terri’s Bio
Born in Texas, but raised in the Pacific Northwest on a farm east of Redmond, Terri has been creative from age eight. She loved to draw, paint and design all kinds of things. Terri taught her first oil painting class in October, 1999, and continues teaching classes at Arts Umbrella in Country Village, Bothell, WA. Her work has been shown, awarded, and sold at shows in Edmonds, Bothell, Everett, and Bremerton. Terri’s work is currently on display at the Art Stall Gallery in Pike Place Market, Seattle, where she is a member and contributing artist.
“Through my teaching, painting, and other artistic endeavors, I hope to continue to learn and to grow as an artist. Outside of painting, I enjoy doing things with my family and friends, costume making especially at Halloween time, jewelry making, and spending time with my grandkids.”
Terri’s paintings show a passion for glass, reflections, and a wide range of varied subject matter. Sometimes funny, most often unusual, and always colorful, Terri’s paintings are never disappointing. She had her first one-person exhibition, “Eclectic Bits of Reality”, in August 2004 at the Kaewyn Gallery in Bothell, and had her second one-person show there in September 2008. Terri has also been accepted into the Fresh Paint Festival in Everett for the last five years.
Terri is the director of Northwest Artists In Action and has done shows at several venues including St. Michelle Winery’s “ Festival of Grapes”, Borders & Books, Molbacks, Sky Nursery, Country Village, and Redmond Town Center.
